Clients and partners,
There will be specific communications from us about individual projects, but I wanted to update you on our overall approach to the coronavirus (COVID-19).
Our primary responsibility is caring for our employees, ensuring that our projects are delivered safely and defect free. We are closely following government guidance.
We have tried and tested business continuity systems, and, like you, are altering our pattern of working to limit all non-essential travel and meetings. Business goes on as ever, albeit with our experts sitting in different seats. Our leadership and teams are fully enabled to deliver our current projects, and to secure new opportunities. We are kitted out with the robust tools to allow video conferencing such as Teams, remote systems access, and continuing to manage projects through our Procore collaboration system.
Our projects remain fully operational. We are adopting a rota system to make sure our sites are always safely managed by suitably qualified managers. Your live projects are critically important and we will be collaborating with design teams to keep projects on track.
Our head office remains open for the time being and we are fully operational with employees working remotely and on essential tasks in the office where necessary, responding to live negotiated projects, tenders and Day-2 work. You can continue to contact us as normal and expect the same fast and friendly level of service. Where there is a job that can be done from home, we are encouraging employees to do so. We fully support flexible working and different patterns to minimise exposure to any peaks on public transport. Head office, like our sites, will be deep-cleaned on a weekly basis.
These are challenging times for us all. We are trying to support all our clients and partners as seamlessly as possible, so please bear with us and feel free to speak to me directly on 020 7593 9900 if you have any concerns or wish to discuss any aspect of our approach or business.
We are monitoring this situation closely and I’ll be in contact again if there is any significant change.
Many thanks,
Steve Elliott
