Condé Nast International needed to change their workplace to meet the demands and aspirations of a new generation of talent previously not associated with this industry.

The creative design of their new office for the digital team at the iconic Grade II Adelphi Building features a dramatic communication staircase that fulfils the client request for increased connection within the new office.

An impressive 15-foot feature video wall spans the double height space and breathes life and movement into the central core of the new workspace. A library bookcase dissects the two floors, showcasing the teams creative work.

Supporting the Condé Nast International Vision

Surrounding a series of glazed meeting rooms and team spaces, small breakout spaces give the office a clubhouse feel. The café area with a striking hexagonal graphic floor provides a social hub for the teams.

The open, clean design has brought this established publishing firm into the 21st century, supporting their ongoing mission; To excel. To engage. To entertain.

Fit Out Facts

  • Cat B refurbishment over two floors including structural work
  • Open plan office space, café with a variety of seating to provide additional team working space, large break out area, meeting and team rooms, comms rooms, dramatic communication staircase with feature video wall
  • Extensive specialist joinery and bespoke AV packages
  • Complex co-ordination of multiple services was necessary due to the restricted floor to ceiling height of the existing structure and lack of available ceiling and floor voids for the new exposed services
  • Noise restrictions in the building were very onerous and left BW with 1 hour a day of reasonable time to carry out the structural works
