Team BW triumph at Tour de Paternoster - raising over £15k for Future Dreams

6th June 2025

For the second year running, BW: Workplace Experts took on the Tour de Paternoster, the static bike challenge held in Paternoster Square, where companies race to cycle the furthest, all to raise money for Future Dreams, the breast cancer charity.

This summer, our team swapped hard hats for helmets (and Lycra) to take part in a 196-mile ride to Paris, split into 18 intense 20-minute slots. It was fast, fun, and fiercely competitive.

Despite the rain, Team BW showed up and showed out. We raised over £15,000 (including Gift Aid), helping to push the total event fundraising to over £25,000. And the best part? We won the race, crossing the virtual finish line in Paris first!

Everyone pulled together, including our CEO, Steve Elliott, who joined the ride to support the team.

A huge thank you to everyone who pushed their fundraising through friends, family and colleagues. The collective total currently stands at £25,000 (including Gift Aid). To put this into perspective, that’s enough to fund vital counselling sessions with an experienced Breast Care Nurse for over 316 individuals. These sessions provide critical support for women facing the practical and emotional realities of breast cancer, whether it’s going through notes before surgery, understanding the weeks or months ahead, or simply talking about how they’re feeling in the moment. No judgement, just tailored support when it’s needed most.

Big shoutout to our riders:
