Collaborating to refurbish London Hammersmith’s iconic building, The Ark
We developed a close working relationship with Gardiner & Theobald, Core Five and Gensler when we came together for this project. Our task? To refurbish Hammersmith’s iconic building, The Ark – transforming it into high-quality office space.
This refurbishment prioritised the needs of end-users and incorporated various improvements. These included elements like enhanced landscaping and entrance to unlock additional space, a new reception and café area to improve the building’s amenities, refurbished roof terraces, a new cycle storage facility, gym and changing facilities.
The project aims to achieve a BREEAM “Excellent” rating – ensuring that this locally listed building continues to be fully utilised and remains one of Hammersmith’s architectural treasures. The result is a stunning new office situated in the heart of London.
