BW: Workplace Experts announces leadership transition

BW: Workplace Experts today announced that Steve Elliott will step down as Chief Executive at the end of August, with Anthony Brown, currently Chief Marketing Officer, appointed as his successor.
Steve Elliott led BW through 12 years of sustained growth, including the company’s transition to employee ownership, which today sees the 300-strong business owned by its people.
Steve Elliott said: “Leading BW has been the highest honour of my career. I’m leaving the business in excellent shape and in excellent hands. Anthony has been at the heart of BW for years and understands exactly what makes this company what it is.”
Anthony Brown said: “BW’s success has always been built on its people. My job is to build on what Steve and the leadership team have created, and I couldn’t be taking it on from a stronger position.”
Paul Smith, Chairman, said: “The Board thanks Steve for his outstanding leadership and is delighted to appoint Anthony, whose appointment reflects the depth of talent within the business. This is an orderly, planned transition from a position of strength.”
Anthony Brown takes up the role of Chief Executive on 20th July.
