Bringing the most talked about tower in the heart of London’s financial district to life for Canopius
Canopius asked us to collaborate with HLW, Savills and Heasmans to create one of the world’s most technologically advanced workspaces at 22 Bishopsgate. A key challenge was ensuring the views of all stakeholders were considered while creating a truly captivating and enticing space.
This space came to life through a colourful design that delights and surprises both visitors and staff. Its most striking feature? The red resin-coated helical staircase connecting the 29th and 30th floors. Our key build elements mesh beautifully with HLW’s design – creating a warm and calm atmosphere through the use of rich textures like sumptuous velvet, copper mesh screens, and fabric wall coverings.
Naturally, innovation and sustainability were at the heart of this project. We utilised a system developed by Smart Spaces, bringing together a range of technologies in a new way. Canopius’ workers enjoy greater comfort thanks to smart additions like the solar radiation-activated blinds. Canopius’ 39,000 sq. ft. home truly reflects their innovative and dynamic nature, all while prioritising the needs of their team.
